Pictures simply do not do this piano justice. The rim has burl inlays, as well as the underside of the lid. The bridge caps are NEW. All the brass is NEW. (Not the old brass just polished out, but it is NEW!) The piano even has the BRASS INLAID DECAL on the fallboard. Yes, it's NEW as well! I cannot describe how absolutely perfect this instrument is.
Steinway does not currently make anything this ornate, unless it is special order. Pricing would run well over $250,000. New PLAIN model B grands sell for $142,900.
