These newly designed models have been in the works for a couple of years, and FINALLY, they are AVAILABLE on a limited basis. So far, only two are here in the USA, and guess what? WE HAVE ONE OF THEM!
Simply put, these instruments are INCREDIBLE! As those who follow our page already know, we deal in a LOT of Steinway grands, and THIS one reminds me of a Hamburg Steinway B (211cm). Right down to the bell below the soundboard. And the sound is amazing! It's truly a concert-worthy instrument! Very full, rich tonality, and VERY powerful. Flawless, and incredibly responsive action. This one will NOT disappoint.
The Langer action which was once used in the older model has been replaced with a complete RENNER action, with German Roslau strings and a German Strunz soundboard! There was no compromise on the quality of parts or workmanship which went into this instrument. It is said that imitation is flattery, and that is true. This instrument flatters its competitors very well... at about 1/3 of the price! A Hamburg B will run you $136K Euros. A NY Model B will run you $138K USD. Think about that for a moment..... This piano lists NEW for $71,990, and the lowest (MAP) we can advertise it for is $44,380. So, guess what we are advertising it for? (Yeah.... $44,380!). It's worth every cent!
