This 1925 Mason & Hamlin model A, in figured mahogany received a total restoration from Faust Harrison Pianos, in White Plains NY in 2008. New complete action, back action, strings, pins, pinblock, and SOUNDBOARD! New lacquer finish over the stunning figured mahogany veneers, completed in 2008 as well. If you know Faust Harrison Pianos, and their reputation in the restoration industry, you know that this was a $40-50K restoration, even back in 2008! Their work is some of the best in the world. The piano then went to the owner, where it wasn't used for anything but furniture. Then, 3 years ago, it was purchased by a family in the DC area of Virginia, and it was used extensively by an aspiring and very accomplished pianist. It was maintained impeccably. The regulation is very good, and the piano performs at a concert quality level. 2 owners since restored. 3 years of use since 2008. And we were fortunate enough to receive it on trade for our Steinway model D.
Piano has a perfectly weighted action, and an astonishing sound that will out-perform almost any Steinway M on the market! Big, bold, and powerful.
